We analyse each project individually, considering factors such as complexity and the necessity for platform-specific features. Generally, cross-platform solutions excel in scenarios where the app is less complex or doesn't demand platform-specific logic. However, if your project requires a more platform-specific focus, choosing a native approach would be the preferred option.

What is your process for creating a mobile app?

What steps do you take to ensure compliance with app store guidelines?

In our 'Discovery' phase we will investigate any potential issues with app store guidlines to make sure we are compliant from day 1. We also have over a decade of experience in developing and releasing mobile apps.

Can you develop mobile apps for both iOS and Android simultaneously?

Normally we would do one at a time or a staggered approach (iOS 1 week, Android the next) but if it is neccessary we can up our resources to develop both simultaneously. There is also the option of developing a cross platform solution using Flutter.

Can you assist with app localisation and internationalisation?

By default our apps are always developed with localisation and internationalisation in mind, but we are not translators. The translations would need to be provided.

How do you ensure that mobile apps are accessible?

We like to prioritise accessibility, making it a staple in our apps. This is largely done in the design process ensuring that designs support larger fonts settings, preferring a vertical design over a horizontal design. We also consider colours, contrast and legibility. Once the development phase starts we make sure to implement a robust Voice Over solution. Accessibility is important to us and should never be a second thought.

What is your process for project management and communication during development?

We work using the Agile approach. It invloves a 1 or 2 week sprint of work and at the end of each sprint we will release a test build for you to see the progress.
We mostly use Slack for communication but are open to communicate with you in your preferred method.

Do you provide documentation and training for app administrators?

Yes. We always document everything we do and for an additional fee we can provide training for app administrators.

How do you handle data storage and backups for mobile apps?

Our apps codebase is always kept in version control ensuring that it is stored safely. We also make sure that user our roles are assigned correctly to circumvent any accidentaly deletion.
When it comes to data storage we will always implement safeguards like deletion protection and scheduled backups to ensure the safety of the data.
